Stopped in Saturday evening to pick up a takeout order. The Baja Fish Tacos and Cobb Salad was amazing!! I have been a customer since they opened and have never been disappointed!! Definitely one of Greensboro’s best!!

This was fun and great atmosphere loved the bench round table we got it fit everyone perfectly. Service was awesome and friendly. I assume we got our meals well after everyone else who came in after cuz we had a large party. But other than ravishing hungry getting us all was well. Thanks

I took my parents here to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The staff were great, helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Food was delicious and my parents were thrilled with the luncheon.

Great food, reasonably priced and very good service. Fried oyster appetizer was excellent and so was the Spinach Salad!

Veggie Burger (made in house) was fresh and very tasty! Sweet potato fries were hearty, yet crispy. No microwaved food here! Visit after the lunch crowd rush to truly enjoy your selection.

The food and atmosphere is amazing. VT is one of my go to restaurants with family, date night and girls night out. I always have trouble finding parking but I know it’s because the food is so yummy.

Nice decor and atmosphere. Seems perfect for a fine dining, lunch or dinner. Very good selection of menu items as well.

It was excellent. The clam chowder was the best I've had outside of Boston. And the fried oysters were second to none... excellent. And our hostess Nadia was the most friendly woman I've had serve us in a long while. Great music and atmosphere.

The Food and the Staff are Amazing! I really Recommend this place. Wednesday they have live Music and Drinks oh man it’s Great I love it!

This is the first time I have ever been to a Village Tavern and I was highly impressed with the atmosphere. I had just a salad but the Tavern dressing was great along with the fresh feta cheese. The prices were on the expensive bit it was truly worth it.

What a great place! This was our first visit and the staff were friendly and the food was so delicious! It is a very comfortable atmosphere that suits a casual get- together or a group celebration. There is a large variety of specialty drinks from cocktails to many beers on tap and a comprehensive wine list. I highly recommend that you visit! 🏆

Consistently good food across a lot of styles. A solid drink menu, with bartenders that know good drinks. They also have a wonderful patio for outdoor seating during warmer weather. This is one of my wife's favorite restaurants.

This was our first time dining here, and we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly hostess and the nice, warm ambiance! The inside of the restaurant was immaculate, and had a humongous bar with shelves full of different wines! We were seated and our drinks were delivered promptly. The items on the menu looked amazing, but I decided with the chicken teriyaki! My food was delivered relatively fast and piping hot. Unfortunately, the meal did wow me like a $20.00 plate of rice and some veggies should. The chicken breast was a bit small, and at first I couldn't find it under the vegetables! The teriyaki sauce had a good taste, but it was nothing special. My friend got the burger and fries. The fries were tasteless and the burger was practically raw inside! Our waiter sent it back, and she was delivered a whole new meal. Excellent service from the waitstaff, but so-so food! I will definitely try something else next time we are up this way!

We come here about once every couple months. It is always crowded. Be prepared for a wait! But.....the wait is well worth it! The bar has open seating so it's best to try and grab a table in there. Absolutely love the crab dip appetizer and the seafood fettuccine. Great place to eat or to just grab a few drinks. Service is always pleasant, too!

Really nice place to dine and relax. They have an outdoor portion with live music at times. Service was great with the exception of one time.

This place is always busy and has a great selection of food. Recently tried their brunch and it was great. Recommended the French toast! The wine menu is pretty extensive, so you may want to review the menu online before hand. Enough staff members walking around so if you need anything it doesn't take long.

Overall it wasn't anything grand. I was referred here by a number of friends so I had high hopes. The burger was cooked correctly but the flavor wasn't there. The fries also tasted well but not much better than the typical frozen store variety. We might try it again at a later date but todays experience was less than memorable.

They deal with large groups very well and their brunch is delicious. I tried their poached eggs and biscuit. I definitely recommend it.

Service was wonderful. Food and drink better than expected. I'm visiting the area from Kansas City, and this was the perfect choice.

Went with a group of gals (party of 11) from work, food was the usual top-notch quality I expect from VT, but service was *very* slow - like, took 2 hours to be served lunch fare from order to checks with no appetizers, dessert, or coffee kind of slow. I realize that it's busy during lunch, but we had a reservation and two waitresses assigned to our table, so I was a little bit surprised.I'll be back anyway because the food was amazing, but they might want to think about beefing up the volume on their lunch crew!

Everything was great. The grilled meatloaf in mushroom sauce with garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach was fantastic. My husband had the rib eye with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. He loved it. A great birthday meal for him. We will not take as long to go back. The service and atmosphere was great also. They sat us by the fireplace.

They have the best wings I've ever had. Nice and crispy. Excellent food all the way around. We have been going there for years and the food is alway consistently good.

Our waitress was amazing. Food was not that good for what they charge. Vegetables were bland and my prime rib was a bit fatty.

Visited for lunch and had the fish and chips. The coleslaw what's tasty. Couldn't wait to get to the desert, which I chose the cheesecake. Loved it!

So good! Excellent food and service. And I loved the atmosphere; the fireplace in the dining room is really nice.We went for brunch. Had the apple walnut muffins with whipped honey butter, the shrimp and grits, and the bacon jam burger. All delicious! The screwdriver and mimosa were good too, and strong.This will definitely be a regular place for us.

The Village Tavern has the BEST Tavern Salad With Salmon . EXCELLENT!!! Not good eating alone with a restaurant full to overrun and then the humongous outside covered tent was wall to wall. I will go again. EXCELLENT service .

Perfect spot for a Sunday brunch. Nice location and atmosphere. Lots to choose from and my food was tasty and service was good. Next to great shops.

Had Sunday Brunch of waffle & bloody Mary! Was very good! The staff is very intelligent and professional! I highly recommend & will go again soon 👍

We went for my wife's birthday and had a pleasant experience. The service was good, the food was good, and the atmosphere was great for a date. Our waiter had a beautiful smile and pleasant demeanor. We will definitely go back for another date night.

My first experience with this restaurant was amazing. Great beer selection, food was excellent and worth the price. Desserts were phenomenal. I highly recommend it!

My wife and I are regulars at this restaurant. My son and his wife were visiting from out of town. Hannah was our server. She was friendly and knowledgable about the menu. I had the chicken chowder soup first. Large bowl with chunks of white chicken, potatoes, and delicious broth. Three of us had the excellent salmon meal, and one had the tuna steak meal. All of us were totally satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is consistently excellent!

I rarely ever give out a 5 Star. Took my mother-in-law out and everything was about perfect. A perfect score to me is above 5 *

I knew nothing about the Village Tavern until my foodie friend said we needed to try them out while passing through town. Their idea is simple; serve the best possible food, at affordable prices, using only the finest freshest ingredients. Having enjoyed a late lunch this past Sunday I can say that these folks delivered on that. You can tell they make many items in house. We ordered several appetizers, salads, soups, and a flatbread to share amongst our party. The only miss was the Thai Chicken skewers. A weird smoke flavor dominated the dish. The menu is all over the place but in a good way. It's easy for places to be a jack of all trades and a master of none but that is not the case with VT. Their salad dressings really stood out as did their bacon wrapped scallops. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch with friends here and will be sure to stop in again when we are in town. Please come to Durham, NC!

Excellent service and phenomenal food. The sea bass was amazing. Our server, Paul was knowledgeable and personable. We were celebrating my grandmother's half birthday (doesn't everyone?!) and Paul took it to the next level with a birthday surprise! Thank you Paul! We will definitely be back and requesting Paul!

This was quite the surprise. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is nice, a bit upscale but not where we felt out of place. Definitely gonna go back to try everything else. We had cocktails and they weren't too sweet.
